This fruity twist on a favorite snack will win everyone over whether you need a bite for game day or a starter for your homemade Mexican meal. You can adjust the heat to your preference in this recipe by the amount of serrano peppers you choose to add. Stir in just a half pepper for a mild guacamole or go for two full peppers if you enjoy some pleasant heat.

Juice of 1 lime (1 tablespoon)
1 tablespoon pomegranate juice
½ teaspoon salt
3 tablespoons pomegranate arils
Preparation
Add the onion, cilantro, serrano chiles, and garlic to a medium bowl. Add the avocados and lime juice. Smash the avocado as you stir it into the other ingredients. Continue to smash and stir until it reaches your desired smoothness.
